MONTGOMERY - The Auburn University College of Business is recognizing Deputy State Finance Director Andy Hornsby for his career in public service.
Hornsby has been named one of the top 40 graduates of the AU College of Business. The honor came in the 2008 edition of The Shareholder, Auburn University’s business magazine for alumni and friends. A Macon County, Ala., native, Hornsby’s career has taken him from the USDA in Montgomery and Atlanta, to serving as the head of the national Food Stamp Program under President George H.W. Bush. Hornsby was also appointed to lead the Alabama Dept. of Human Resources under Alabama Governors Guy Hunt and Jim Folsom, Jr.
