The Alabama Department of Finance provides innovative, resourceful leadership and service in financial management and operational support in order to advance the Governor's mission of restoring trust in state government. The Finance Director is the chief financial officer of the state, the advisor of the Governor and the Legislature in financial matters, and is responsible for protecting the financial interests of Alabama.
